Working in collaboration with a team of engineers and biologists at WHOI, I co-developed a suite of robotic kelp farming tools. We aim to automate labor intensive elements of the kelp farming process, enabling farmers to scale production and access global markets.

We were awarded the Silver Innovation Award at the National Seagriculture’s conference in 2022 for our work on the Automated Kelp Line Seeder.
