Hi, my name is Ben Weiss.

I am a Marine Robotics Engineer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) with a background in mechanical engineering and four years of professional experience developing mechatronic systems.

At WHOI, I design novel robotic systems (kelp farming robots, coral reef rehabilitation systems etc). I'm driven by a core belief that robotics have a critical role to play in combating climate change and chronic disease.

My skills include mechatronic systems design, underwater robotics, rapid manufacturing, and the design of embedded systems.
